This low carb, gluten free, lactose free kadhi recipe is sure to stimulate your tastebuds. The popular Sindhi recipe is a perfect dinner and lunch kadhi dish. The recipe goes perfectly with tur dal khichdi, rice or chapati.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Tomato
  • 2 Tsp Begal Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 4 No. Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 1/4 Tsp Green Chilli Paste
  • 1/4 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/8 Tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
  • 1/8 Tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1/8 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Oil
  • As Required Water

Method

Pre Preparation
  • Step 1

    Make puree out of chopped tomato

  • Step 2

    Mix besan with water

Preparation
  • Step 1

    In a heated pan add oil, rai, hing, kadi patta, ginger garlic paste, green chilli paste and tomato puree

  • Step 2

    Mix all ingredients well and saute for 2 min

  • Step 3

    Add besan mixture, water, salt and red chilly powder. Mix it well and allow it to simmer for 5 min

  • Step 4

    Tasty tomato kadhi is ready to serve hot
