This vegan dry sabzi recipe is a perfect lunch and dinner main course dish. The recipe goes perfectly with rotis and parathas.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Jack Fruit(Chopped)
  • 1/8 Cup Onion(Julienne)
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato(Chopped)
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander Leaves(Chopped)
  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger(Grated)
  • 1/2 Tsp Garlic(Chopped)
  • 1/4 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Coriander Seed Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin Seed
  • 1/8 Tsp Green Chilli Paste
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Oil
  • As Required Water

Method

Preparation
  • Step 1

    In a pan, heat oil, add jackfruit

  • Step 2

    Saute well and keep aside

  • Step 3

    In the same pan, heat oil

  • Step 4

    Add cumin seeds, grated ginger, grated garlic, green chilly paste and mix well

  • Step 5

    Now add juilenne onion and saute

  • Step 6

    Add turmeric powder, coriander seed powder, red chilly powder, garam masala and mix

  • Step 7

    Add chopped tomato, cooked jackfruit, salt and mix well

  • Step 8

    Cover and allow to cook until the vegtable is completely done

  • Step 9

    Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with rotis
