Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Refined Flour (Maida)
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar Powder
  • 1 No. Raw Egg
  • 2 Tbsp Curd
  • 2 Tsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1/2 Tsp Oil
  • As Required Water

Method

Preparation
  • Step 1

    In a bowl, add butter, curd, powdered sugar, an egg yolk, sieve in maida and baking powder, whisk well while adding a little water

  • Step 2

    Add whipped egg white to the mix

  • Step 3

    Make paste of cocoa powder with water and keep aside

  • Step 4

    Coat the tin with oil and maida, pour the batter in the cake tin

  • Step 5

    Now add the cocoa paste in the tin and bake at 180 degree celsius for 25 mins and once done insert a toothpick and check

  • Step 6

    Serve a fresh baked chocolatey cake for supper
