  • 1/2 Tsp Sambhar Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1/4 Tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Oil
  • As Required Water

  • Step 1

    Cook tur dal and keep ready

    Heat oil in a kadhai, add rai, hing, kadi patta, chopped onion, tomato, salt, water and stir well

  • Step 2

    Add red chilly powder, sambar powder, haldi cooked tur dal, chopped palak, water to adjust consistency

  • Step 3

    Lastly, garnish with coriander leaves and mix well

  • Step 4

    Serve with idli, dosa or rice
