This is a quintessential naan recipe from the lands of Punjab, but a favorite across India too. This recipe is easy to prepare and can be had as lunch or dinner

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
  • 2 Tbsp Refined Flour (Maida)
  • 5 Tbsp Grated Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 2 Tsp Curd
  • 1/4 Tsp Sugar
  • 1/8 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 Tsp Butter
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • As Required Water

Method

Preparation
  • Step 1

    Take a bowl and add whole wheat flour, maida,salt, baking powder,sugar, curd, butter combine well and knead a soft dough, add water as required

  • Step 2

    Take a bowl and add cheese, coriander leaves and mix well

  • Step 3

    Make a roll out of the kneaded dough and roll into a roti, spread the cheese mixture on the dough

  • Step 4

    Fold and seal properly

  • Step 5

    Roll out a thick naan

  • Step 6

    Apply some water on the backside of the naan

  • Step 7

    Transfer to a tawa cover and cook

  • Step 8

    Roast well from both sides

  • Step 9

    Serve hot
