Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Black Gram Dal
  • 1 Tbsp Green Gram Dal
  • 1 Cup Chopped Amaranth Leaves
  • 1 Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
  • 1/2 Tsp Chopped Green Chilli
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • Oil For Frying Oil
  • As Required Water

Method

Pre Preparation
  • Step 1

    Soak and make a paste of urad dal

  • Step 2

    Soak and make a paste of moong dal

  • Step 1

    In a mixing bowl, take prepared black urad dal paste and moong dal paste

  • Step 2

    To the above mixture, add chopped coriander leaves, ginger garlic paste, jeera, chopped green chilli, salt and chopped amaranth leaves

  • Step 3

    To give it a healthy twist, add kasuri methi and mix well to prepare a sticky mixture

  • Step 4

    Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying

  • Step 5

    Put small portions of the mixture in heated oil and deep fry till golden brown

  • Step 6

    Remove when done and serve with green chutney or ketchup
