Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Cottage Cheese (Paneer)
  • 1/4 Cup Chopped Onion
  • 2 Tbsp Cow Milk
  • 1 Tbsp Peanuts
  • 1/2 Tsp Chopped Garlic
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1/4 Tsp Grated Ginger
  • 4 No. Cashewnut
  • 3 No. Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
  • 1 No. Red Chilly
  • 1 No. Cloves
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/4 Tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 Tsp Poppy Seeds (Khas Khas)
  • 1/4 Tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1/8 Tsp Turmeric (Haldi)
  • 1/8 Tsp White Sesame Seed (Til)
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Oil
  • As Required Water

Method

Preparation
  • Step 1

    In a pan, heat oil

  • Step 2

    Saute paneer, until golden brown, remove and keep aside

  • Step 3

    In another pan, add jeera along with the following masalas

  • Step 4

    Add peanuts, white til, khas khas, cashew nut, clove, ginger, 1/2 tsp garlic, 1 dry red chilly

  • Step 5

    Dry roast till they turn aromatic

  • Step 6

    Once the spices are nicely roasted, transfer to a blender and grind to make fine powder

  • Step 7

    Now, heat oil and add kadi pattas into it

  • Step 8

    Add onion saute till transparent

  • Step 9

    Add prepared masala along with, haldi, red chilly powder, dhania powder, milk, and water

  • Step 10

    Stir & allow to simmer

  • Step 11

    Add sauteed paneer with salt

  • Step 12

    Allow to cook for a minute and serve hot
