This rich savoury Bottlegourd Soup with Sprouted Moong, made with ingredients like pulses, is super filling and tasty too. It can be had for your evening, dinner or lunch meal with white bread butter sandwich, potato toast sandwich, garlic bread with cheese or homemade garlic bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 Tsp Whole Green Gram (Moong)
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Bottle Gourd
  • 2 Tbsp Diced Onion
  • 1 No. Garlic
  • 1/4 Tsp Mixed Herbs
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Oil
  • As Required Water

Method

Pre Preparation
  • Step 1

    Soak and sprout whole moong

Preparation
  • Step 1

    In a pan, heat oil, add garlic, diced onion and saute it well

  • Step 2

    Add grated bottle gourd, salt, mixed herbs, whole moong sprouts and water as required

  • Step 3

    Let It simmer, cool slightly and blend

  • Step 4

    Garnish with sprouts and serve
