Ingredients

  • 1.5 Tbsp Masoor Dal
  • 1/8 Diced Cup Onion, big
  • 1/8 Diced Cup Orange Carrot
  • 1 Chopped Tbsp Celery Stalk
  • 1 Chopped Tsp Garlic
  • 1/8 Powder Tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Water

Method

Pre Preparation
  • Step 1

    Soak and pressure cook red lentil

Preparation
  • Step 1

    Heat oil in a frying pan at a low flame. Add diced onion and saute

  • Step 2

    Once the onions start to become transparent, add chopped garlic, diced carrots, chopped celery, previously soaked and cooked red letil and saute

  • Step 3

    Once slightly cooked, pour in a little water and add salt along with black pepper and mix properly

  • Step 4

    Bringing it to a boil, allow the soup to simmer and cook

  • Step 5

    Take off the flame, pour in a blender and blend to obtain a soup like consistency

  • Step 6

    Garnish with a coriander leaf

  • Step 7

    Serve hot
