  • 3 Medium Snake Gourd (Padwal)
  • 2 Tsp Begal Gram (Chana Dal)
  • 1/2 Tsp Grated Ginger
  • 1/2 Tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Oil
  • As Required Water

Method

Pre Preparation
  • Step 1

    Boil chana dal

  • Step 2

    Remove seeds from padwal & chop into thick long slices

Preparation
  • Step 1

    Heat kadhai, add oil, jeera, hing, grated ginger, saute well

  • Step 2

    Then add padwal slices, red chilly powder, haldi, dhania powder, salt, saute well

  • Step 3

    Add water & cover with lid, cook for 5 minutes

  • Step 4

    Then add boiled chana dal and saute well

  • Step 5

    Serve with chapati
