Ingredients

  • 100 Gm Pistachio
  • 2 Tbsp Khoa
  • 2.5 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp Pistachio(Chopped)
  • 1/8 Tsp Green Cardamom Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Clarified Butter
  • As Required Water

Method

Pre Preparation
  • Step 1

    Soak pistachio in hot water for 2 hours

  • Step 2

    Remove skin and let it dry

  • Step 3

    Once dried, grind and make a paste

    In a pan, add sugar and water as required

  • Step 2

    Boil it till one strand consistency

  • Step 3

    To this add prepared pista paste and mix well for 3 min

  • Step 4

    Now, add green cardamom powder, khoa and clarified butter

  • Step 5

    Mix continuously till the mixture starts to leave the pan

  • Step 6

    Take a tin, spread chopped pistachio and transfer the mixture to the tin

  • Step 7

    Chill in refrigerator till it sets and later cut into pieces

  • Step 8

    Tasty pista barfi is ready to serve
