This vegan tangy gravy recipe is a perfect dinner and lunch main course dish. It is rich in fibre and recipe goes perfectly either with rotis or rice.

Ingredients

  • 4 no. Drumstick
  • 1/2 cup Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Tomato (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp Red Chilly (powder)
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander Seed Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic (chopped)
  • 7 no. Curry Leaves
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • As Required Water

Method

  • Step 1

    Cook drumsticks

    In a blender, add chopped onion, chopped tomato, chopped garlic, turmeric powder, red chilly powder and coriander seed powder

  • Step 2

    Blend all these ingredients into a paste and keep it aside

  • Step 3

    In a kadai, put oil, add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaves and the prepared paste

  • Step 4

    Saute for sometime and add water as required. Then put cooked drumsticks in it

  • Step 5

    Add salt and mix everything well

  • Step 6

    Cover and cook until the drumsticks are well cooked

  • Step 7

    Serve it hot along with rice
