Ingredients

  • 1/4 Cup Boiled Mashed Potato
  • 1/4 Cup Sago (Sabudana)
  • 2 Tbsp Peanuts
  • 1/2 Tsp Chopped Coriander
  • 1/4 Tsp Green Chilli Paste
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • For Frying Oil

Method

Pre Preparation
  • Step 1

    Roast peanuts and grind it

  • Step 2

    Soak sabudana

  • Step 3

    Boil and mash a medium size potato

Preparation
  • Step 1

    In a mixing bowl, add soaked sabudana, boiled and mashed potato, ground peanuts, chopped green chilli, jeera and salt

  • Step 2

    Add chopped coriander leaves and mix all ingredients well

  • Step 3

    Roll the mixture into balls and press gently

  • Step 4

    In a kadhai, heat oil for frying and deep fry the vadas till they turn golden brown

  • Step 5

    Serve hot with choice of chutney
