This super grains Oatmeal Honey Porridge recipe is sure to stimulate your tastebuds. The popular vegetarian and Jain Indian Porridge Recipe is a perfect breakfast, evening or mid morning breakfast cereals dish. The recipe goes perfectly with almond saffron milk with honey, elaichi milk, almond milk or apple milkshake.

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Cow Milk
  • 4 Tbsp Oats
  • 1/2 Tbsp Honey
  • As Required Water

Method

Preparation
  • Step 1

    Heat a frying pan at a low flame and pour a little water in the pan

  • Step 2

    Once the water is heated, add oats and mix well

  • Step 3

    When oats are cooked and the water has dried up, pour in milk

  • Step 4

    Stir it continuously and allow it to boil

  • Step 5

    Add 2 tsp honey and cook for a few more minutes

  • Step 6

    Once cooked, take off the flame and transfer to a serving bowl

  • Step 7

    Garnish with mixed nuts

  • Step 8

    Serve hot
