This is unique and delicious recipe. This flavorful vegetarian and jain recipe can be had with mix vegetable sambhar, coconut chutney .


  • 1.5 Tsp Chopped Spinach (Palak)
  • 3 Tbsp Rice
  • 3 Tsp Black Gram Dal (Urad)
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Oil
  • As Required Water


For Batter
  • Step 1

    Soak rice and urad dal soak and ferment overnight and add salt into it

For Puree
  • Step 1

    Make puree of chopped palak

  • Step 1

    Grease tray with oil, pour batter into tray, put tray in Idli tray

  • Step 2

    Cover with lid and steam well

  • Step 3

    Serve Hot
