Ingredients
For Kozhakattai
- 1/4 Cup Rice Flour
- 1/2 Grated Cup Fresh Coconut
- 1/4 Powder Cup Jaggery
- 1/8 Powder Tsp Green Elaichi
- 1/8 Tsp Salt
- 50 ml Water
Method
For The Filling
Step 1
In a pan, add grated fresh coconut, jaggery powder and green cardamom powder
Step 2
Mix all ingredients well till jaggery melts
For The Dough
Step 1
In a kadhai boil water as required and add salt, rice flour and mix well
Step 2
Turn off the heat and knead a soft dough
Step 3
Allow it to cool, take a small portion, flatten and put the prepared filling
Step 4
Seal and shape them
Step 5
Prepare the rest, transfer the modak to the steamer
Step 6
Allow it to steam for 15 min
Step 7
Delicious modak is ready to serve
