Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp Curd
- 2 Tbsp Bengal Gram Dal (Chana)
- 1 Tbsp Sev
- 1 Tbsp Chopped Coriander Leaves
- 1/2 Tsp Grated Ginger
- 1/2 Tsp Green Chilli Paste
- 1/4 Tsp Chopped Green Chilli
- 4 No. Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
- 1/4 Tsp Asafoetida (Hing)
- 1/4 Tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
- 1/2 Tsp Fruit Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Oil
- As Required Water
Method
Pre Preparation
Step 1
Soak 2 tbsp Chana Dal in Warm Water.
Step 2
Grind Soaked Dal with 4 tbsp Curd into Smooth Paste.
For khaman dhokla
Step 1
In a bowl, add dhokla batter, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp green chilli paste, 1/2 tsp grated ginger, 1/4th tsp fruit salt, 1/4th tsp haldi and mix.
Step 2
Grease the plate with oil, pour the batter in the plate and put in steamer.
Step 3
Close the lid and steam for 15 min.
For tempering
Step 1
In a pan, add 1 tsp oil, 1/4th tsp rai, 6 kadi patta, 1/4 tsp chopped green chillies, 1/8th tsp hing and water.
Step 2
Add tempering to dhokla, add 1 tbsp sev, 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves and serve.
