Ingredients
- 1/2 Tbsp Whole Green Gram (Moong)
- 3.5 Tbsp Whole Wheat Flour
- 1 No. Potato
- 1.5 Tsp Chopped Orange Carrot
- 1 Tbsp Semolina (Suji)
- 1/4 Tsp Cumin Powder (Jeera)
- 1/4 Tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- As Required Water
Method
Pre Preparation
Step 1
Soak and boil whole green gram
Preparation
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, add wheat flour
Step 2
Add soaked and boiled whole green gram
Step 3
Now, add chopped carrot
Step 4
Season with salt, carom seeds and cumin seeds powder
Step 5
Add softcooked and peeled potato
Step 6
Now, mash all these ingredients into a wellbonded mixture
Step 7
Mold the mixture into a cutlet and coat with semolina
Step 8
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the cutlet
Step 9
When the cutlet is fried to a golden brown colour, flip gently and repeat
Step 10
Serve hot
