Ingredients

  • 100 g Mutton
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 Tsp Haldi
  • 150 ml Water
  • 3 Chopped Tbsp Onion, big
  • 1 Chopped Tsp Coriander Leaves
  • 1 Tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 Tsp Garam Masala
  • 1/8 Tsp Dry Mango Powder
  • 1/4 Powder Tsp Red Chilli
  • 1/4 Tsp Jeera
  • 2 Number Cloves
  • 1/2 Number Bay Leaf
  • 1 Number Star Anise
  • 1/4 Stick Cinnamon
  • 1 Number Green Elaichi
  • 1 Number Black Elaichi
  • 2 Number Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tsp Oil

Method

For Pressure Cooking
  • Step 1

    Pressure cook mutton with salt, ginger garlic paste & turmeric powder

Preparation
  • Step 1

    Heat oil in a deep kadhai

  • Step 2

    Add black pepper, black elaichi, green elaichi,

  • Step 3

    cinnamon, star anise, bay leaf, cloves, and cumin seeds & roast till aromatic

  • Step 4

    Add chopped onion, and saute till translucent

  • Step 5

    Now, add ginger garlic paste, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, dry mango powder, salt, garam masala and fry the spices well on low heat

  • Step 6

    Saute till it starts to leave oil

  • Step 7

    Add water to adjust consistency, stir well and allow to simmer

  • Step 8

    Add cooked mutton to the gravy, and cover with a lid

  • Step 9

    Allow to cook on low to medium heat

  • Step 10

    Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or chapatti
