For Batter
  • 4 No. Pav
  • 2 Tbsp Bengal Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1/4 Tsp Powder Red Chilly
  • 1/4 Tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
  • 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • As Required Water
For Batata Vada
  • 3/4 Cup Diced Potato
  • 1/2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
  • 1/4 Tsp Dry Mango Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain)
  • For Frying Oil

Method

For Vada Batter
  • Step 1

    In a mixing bowl, add besan, ajwain, salt, red chilly powder, haldi, water, and mix it well

For Vada Mixture
  • Step 1

    In a mixing bowl, add boiled mashed potato, salt, ajwain, haldi, red chilly powder, dry mango powder, mash, and mix it well

  • Step 2

    Then from the mixture make round shape vada.

For Frying
  • Step 1

    Heat oil, dip the vada in batter, then put it in the pan, fry evenly on medium flame

  • Step 2

    Serve it hot
