- 4 Tbsp Semolina (Suji)
- 2 Tbsp Bottle Gourd (Grated)
- 1 Tbsp Curd
- 1/4 Tsp Ginger (Chopped)
- 1/4 Tsp Green Chilli Paste
- 4 No. Curry Leaves (Kadi Patta)
- 1/4 Tsp Mustard (Rai) Seeds
- 1/8 Tsp Fruit Salt
- 1/4 Tsp Salt
- 1.5 Tsp Oil
- As Required Water
Method
Preparation
Step 1
In a mixing bowl, add suji, grated bottle gourd, curd, salt, ginger, green chilli paste and mix all the ingredients well
Step 2
Season with fruit salt, add water, mix well and grease the mould with oil
Step 3
Pour the prepared batter into the mould and steam for 1015 minutes
Step 4
For the tadka, first, heat oil and add rai, kadi patta, allow it to crackle
Step 5
Pour this tadka onto the cooked dhokla, cut into square shapes and serve hot
